ELEMENTS

My photography series "New Earth" focuses on expression through environmental forms curated from nature. Objects are made from materials (imported/exported) integrated with South African values to encompass the natural world. I decided to shoot in 'raw' and the photographs remain unedited, emphasizing the textures and symbol of African language.

RENEW

My South African background comes from leather, wicker, wood, and weaving. I embrace my roots and heritage being the newest generation in my family, setting intentions with spiritual tools.

REFRESH

My ancestral line consists of  creators; carpenters, upholsterers, seamstresses, photographers, and textile designers.

The cutting board and coaster originate from 'Wonky Wear,'  South Africa's well-known crafter.

African drums represent spiritual awakening, empowerment, and vitality.

Bracelets of leather, string, and mineral beads are worn during grounding meditation rituals.

Smudge sticks symbolize spiritual protection and energy healing.
